We have A Lot to Drink About as a locally organized ParrotHead Club, recognized and supported by Jimmy Buffett and his interests in Key West, New Orleans, and Margaritavilles everywhere! We’re a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to assist in community outreach programs and to provide a means of social interaction for people interested in Jimmy Buffett’s music, tropical spirit, and those needing Changes in Latitude and Attitude. This is in keeping with the goals of all Parrot Head clubs on the Far Side of the World, by providing volunteer support for local and environmental concerns, as well as hosting assorted social activities for people with similar tastes and interests.
The Tallahassee ParrotHead Club began in 1996 and is an official chapter of the national organization, Parrot Heads in Paradise, which was founded on Jimmy Buffett’s ethic of giving back to the community.
What are The Stories We Could Tell? The Pub Crawl for Charity; our Bi-Monthly Riggins Road Clean-Ups; Annual Alzheimer’s Phrenzy; Annual Alzheimer's walk. House Concerts (where we bring in local and national musicians). We donate to the Alzheimer’s Project because of the great work they do in the Big Bend.
We meet regularly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. When there are 5 Wednesdays we have a 5th Wednesday social. These monthly socials support different charities in our community. Some of the charities we supported in 2023 were: -FALC - Feline Advocates of Leon County, Spirit of a Child Foundation, Capital Area Healthy Start, Title 1 school Riley Elementary, Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue, Triple R Horse Rescue, Mentoring for Kids, SGI Chili Cook-Off/Volunteer Fire Department, St. George Island, Eastpoint, Ability 1st ramp build; Environment Cleanups and much, much more! Enjoy some Drinks and a Cheeseburger in Paradise while listening to live music, and trying your luck on raffles. Attendance is not required, but it is fun!
The ParrotHead Club is open to new members. It’s a great organization for people who like Jimmy Buffett’s music and the laid-back lifestyle he conveys, and who want to make Tallahassee a better place to live. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.

Established in 1995, the mission of Big Bend Hospice Foundation is to support the unfunded and underfunded programs of Big Bend Hospice.
The Foundation solicits and manages donations and other charitable gifts by raising awareness of current needs, hosting fundraisers, seeking grants, obtaining memorial gifts, establishing endowments, and more.
Thanks to the generosity of thousands in our eight-county service area, no one is refused hospice services due to their ability to pay.
